Performance
Opportunities abound...
Much can be said about the exceptional training for students at the Conservatory. It begins with a personal relationship that is fostered in the studio where your foundation is centered as a musician. As a result of your private study, you will be provided with numerous solo and departmental opportunities to perform. In addition to private study, our students choose from a variety of regular small ensembles such as the Percussion Ensemble, Brass Choir, Flute Ensemble, and Jazz Band (to name a few) that augment their performance opportunities as soloists and studio musicians.
On a larger scale, competitive auditions are held for positions in our Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Motet Choir and College Choir. Other large ensembles, including Concert Wind Ensemble, B-W Singers and Woman's Choir, provide a wide variety of styles and performing mediums for all students at the College.

Outstanding performance traditions include our world-renowned Bach Festival, the biennial FOCUS Festival of Contemporary Music, and the annual concerto competition where two students are recognized for outstanding musicianship and performance ability.
