The B-W Conservatory of Music enjoys a strong relationship with The Cleveland Orchestra and its musicians, a number of whom are members of the Conservatory's artist faculty. Other Conservatory faculty members are regular substitute players with the Orchestra.
B-W Conservatory students regularly attend Cleveland Orchestra concerts through a ticket reimbursement program funded by the Kulas Foundation. The Orchestra also offers a student ticket discount program, free open rehearsals and master classes with Orchestra and guest musicians, many of which include B-W students. B-W arts management students regularly assist with Cleveland Orchestra education programs and events and complete internships with members of the Orchestra's management team.
The Orchestra's trumpet section includes two B-W graduates, Michael Miller '85 and Lyle Steelman '01.
