Alumni Achievement Awards
Each year, the Conservatorys Alumni Achievement Awards Committee invites a few graduates to campus to accept recognition of their significant contributions to the field of music. Occurring during the fall semester, the event typically includes a concert and on-campus dinner, to which award-winners family members are invited. Conservatory faculty members serve as presenters, offering summaries of the graduates achievements. Lee Stevens ( 67 BME), Director of Bands at Atholton High School; Scott Walton (81 BA arts management), Director of Marketing and Public Relations at American Conservatory Theatre; and Laura Koepke (91 BM), chamber and orchestra musician in New York City, were awarded Conservatory Alumni Achievement Awards on September 18, 2006. The following day they interacted with current students and shared their experiences of Life after B-W.
