A musical experience for parents / caregivers and children from newborns to 3 years old
Dr. Herbert Marshall, Instructor
Moms know that even babies in the womb respond to music, and caregivers of very young children can see responses to music from baby's very first days. Most music programs, however, wait until a child is three or four years old before engaging them in music as an activity. BW is excited to offer MusicPlay - a music and movement experience for young children and their caregivers. In small groups, children learn to recognize musical phrases and develop body coordination through a diverse collection of songs, chants, and movement activities. Children (and caregivers) will be physically and musically engaged in creative and fun experiences to begin a life-long musical journey.
Students will be placed in classes by the instructor prior to the first class, based on your day preference. Placement is according to age, movement ability, and previous MusicPlay experience. Parents/caregivers will be notified of placement at least one week before classes start.
