Conservatory Outreach

We offer both group voice lessons and classes. Group Lessons are 30 minutes each week, include 5 to 7students, and cover all the basics of proper vocal technique.Group Classes are 60 minutes each week, include 8 to 12 students, and use a particular style of music (such as Broadway, popular songs, or classical song repertoire) to teach proper vocal techniques.
                     


Spring 2009

Group Voice Lessons for Teens ages 13 – 18
Norma Codispoti, Instructor

A wonderful way to participate in the study of voice in a group setting which will build confidence and self-esteem in the young high school singer.  Classes will deal with basic vocal technique including positive breathing habits, posture, good diction, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature.  OMEA song repertoire will be taught as well as musical theater selections.  Purchase of songbook is required.

Cost: $190 for 19 weeks (excluding purchase of songbook) and $10 registration fee

Group Voice Lessons for Adults

An excellent way to participate in the study of voice in a group setting for either the beginning or intermediate adult singer who has already had exposure to voice study. Classes will deal with basic vocal technique including good posture, breathing, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature. Purchase of a songbook is required.
