The Baldwin-Wallace Speech Clinic is now located at 325 Front Street, Berea, Ohio - The clinic is situated at the corner of Front Street and Adalbert Street.  Parking is located behind the building and on the side street during the posted times.  A handicap accessible ramp is located on the south side of the building.   Use this link to print the map . One of the missions of Baldwin-Wallace College is to encourage students to engage in experiential learning.The Baldwin-Wallace Speech Clinic is one of the few programs in the nation where undergraduates can gain concrete clinical experience. This program helps distinguish Baldwin-Wallace College as an exceptional institution for studying Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

The new Speech Clinic has two individual therapy rooms with state of the art equipment, an observation facility and professional decor. Thus, allowing for the creation of an environment that would mirror professional settings, enhance the learning experience for the Baldwin-Wallace student and  improve the quality of care for our patients.

  The National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapter at Baldwin-Wallace has meetings every other Tuesday during lunch. Meetings are open to any member of the campus community. Meeting dates and times are posted on the bulletin board across from Kleist Room 221. NSSLA Regional Councilors
 
The National Student Speech-Language & Hearing Association is a student association for students interested in normal and disordered human comunication.  For the past 5 years a B-W graduate has had the privilege of serving as one of 10 regional counselors in National NSSHLA.  Currently, Annie Kobilarcik is the regional councilor for Region 4.  She graduated from B-W in 2007 and currently is a graduate student at the University of Akron. 
 
Communication Walk
 
In April 2008 the NSSLHA chapter at Baldwin-Wallace College planned the first annual Communication Walk at Coe Lake in Berea to raise money for the Middleburg Early Education Center.  Over 200 participants turned out to raise over $1,600.00.  The 3rd annual Communication Walk was held Saturday April 17th, 2010 and raised $2866.34 to benefit Smile Train, a non-profit organization with a mission of providing free cleft surgery for children in developing countries and cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals.

Speech/Hearing Screenings

Students from the Speech Disorders Program volunteer to provide speech/hearing screenings at local schools and in the surrounding communities.  These screenings provide valuable experience for the students to help develop skills necessary to excel in their chosen profession.
