Small class sizes and individual attention make B-W's chemistry program ideal for career preparation and/or medical, professional or graduate school.  Unlike schools that limit laboratory and research work to seniors and grad students, you'll experience hands-on opportunities early.

Scholarly

Our students have presented at professional conferences, have had papers published and have earned coveted national summer research positions with major medical centers, corporations and academic institutions.  You'll use specialized high-tech instruments and equipment, work alongside faculty mentors and partner with local companies to do research that is real-world and relevant.

Professional

B-W's chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS).  Students interested in pursuing an intensive program of study can opt for the ACS-certified major, which requires additional coursework beyond that needed for completion of a B-W chemistry major.
