The Living Learning Compact is an evolving statement of purpose for the living/learning community. A living Learning Center represents much more than just a residence hall or a new location for classes. The faculty, staff, and students involved in these communities are all asked to read, have an understanding of, and commit themselves to these ideas.
We the students, faculty, and staff for the Living Learning community will:
- Challenge ourselves to actively learn in new and creative ways,

Develop a unique community that fosters respect for differences in beliefs and backgrounds,

Develop an appreciation for the larger local and global communities in which we all live, and

Continually reexamine our own personal growth and involvement in this community.
Students are asked to sign the Living Learning Compact as part of the application process.
