Entrepreneurship Minor

Success in today’s competitive, economy-driven marketplace requires the use of analytical thinking, innovative practices and creative problem-solving techniques. 

 Whether your goals include boosting your career marketability, building a business or broadening an existing one, B-W’s minor in entrepreneurship offers you the building blocks of success.

Professional
You’ll meld theory with practice as you focus on the mindset, behaviors and skills of entrepreneurs in nearby Cleveland and beyond. You’ll gain insights from professors whose backgrounds include decades of corporate, non-profit, small business and government agency experience.

Experiential
Through B-W’s new Center for Innovation and Growth, you can get involved with business and community research projects that contribute to the economic development of Northeast Ohio.  Other opportunities we offer include the Business Advisory Council, Corporate Roundtables, award-winning Students in Free Enterprise organization, Herzog Chair in Free Enterprise, and the Burton D. Morgan Chair in Entrepreneurial Studies.

Personal
Internships, group discussions, community and corporate partnership programs, and professional student organizations put you in contact with B-W faculty and business leaders focusing on today’s relevant issues.

Versatile
Fifty percent of B-W’s business students pursue graduate work toward an M.B.A. or J.D. within five years of graduation.  Careers related to entrepreneurship include:
