Why the B-W Health Care MBA?
Health care in America is a complex, dynamic, rapidly changing industry.  The rising cost of services, the rapid proliferation of new technologies and the growing number of uninsured persons all contribute to creating complex challenges for consumers, providers, business and government.  The B-W HCMBA gives you the knowledge and skills to navigate this complexity and contribute to sound business solutions.

Program Highlights
The B-W HCMBA is built on the foundation of a sound MBA curriculum with the added dimension of systematic integration of health care issues and applications.  Students focus on developing a wide range of business skills, while exploring current and emerging health care trends.  The diversity of student backgrounds, small class size and emphasis on team learning coupled with the accessibility of experienced faculty creates an excellent learning environment.

Program Format
The Health Care MBA is designed for professionals working in health care settings and related fields who seek a graduate degree without interrupting their careers or interfering with weekday obligations.  The program consists of 10 core management courses and two health care courses, offered on alternate weekends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and ending Saturday at 3:30 p.m.  Classes meet 10 times in each of the four semesters and there are no classes during the summer.  Students attending the Berea campus have the option of completing the program over two or three years.  The Beachwood campus will offer a two year schedule.

HCMBA Graduates
With an HCMBA, career mobility takes many different forms.  Many graduates have moved from clinical positions to management and administrative roles.  For others the move has been to a new department within the organization or to a new organization such as an insurance or pharmaceutical company.

B-W HCMBA graduates are working in a variety of settings including many leading health care organizations in Northeast Ohio.  You can be sure B-W graduates are addressing the health care challenges and making the health care system more responsive to the needs of consumers and the community.  The B-W HCMBA can give you the knowledge and skills you need to take the next step in your career.
