Baldwin-Wallace Aids Lakeland Students in Degree Completion

A partnership between Baldwin-Wallace College and Lakeland Community College will make it a simple matter for Lakeland graduates to complete

their bachelor's degree at B-W East. Students with an Associate in Arts and Business degree will be able to transfer to B-W without duplication of coursework. They may elect a focus in human resources,  management or marketing.

“One of the true benefits in the partnership is that students currently enrolled at Lakeland have the advantage of being clearly advised in their path to a four-year degree,” said Susan Dileno, vice president for Enrollment Management at B-W.

“Early on, they know that they have an attainable goal for degree completion.” The program is based on the Lakeland Weekend A.A.B. program. Classes will meet Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

“This schedule fits right in with the Lakeland students' path so far,”noted Winnie Gerhardt, director of admission for B-W's Evening/Weekend program.

Classes will be held at B-W East, located in the Landmark Centre Building in Beachwood (corner of Richmond Road and Science Park Drive).

Students who enroll in the Fall of 2006 may earn their Bachelor of Arts degree from B-W by the Summer of 2008. For more information on the partnership, go to www.bw.edu/bweast or call 216-595-1415.
