U.S. Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-Lorain) visited the B-W campus in February and gave an impassioned presentation against NAFTA and similar trade agreements.
Michael Feuer, founder of OfficeMax, visited with students in January. He shared the story of the creation and development of the “big box” office supply retail chain, which he sold recently to Boise-Cascade. He also talked about his recent launch of a venture capital firm.
“Ethical Considerations of the Entrepreneur” was the topic of a panel discussion in February, hosted by the campus Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization. It included William H. Braun, President of Custom Rubber Corporation; Diann Rucki, President of Enterprise Development Inc.; Fred Koury, CEO of Smart Business Network, and Timothy A. Dimoff, CEO/President of SACS Consulting & Investigative Services Inc.
