BW MBA Students Rewarded!! Place third in ACG Cup Competition
Congratulations to the BW MBA team of Kathy Heigle, Charles Messina, Kaustubh Sharma, and Peter Woodward for earning 3rd place in the ACG Cup competition which took place on Friday January 25th at the Union Club in Cleveland! The ACG (Association of Corporate Growth) Cup annual competition attracted multiple teams of graduate students from Baldwin Wallace, Case Western Reserve, Cleveland State, Kent State, the University of Akron and Ohio State University. Each team had a week to prepare their analysis of a real-world merger case created by the boutique investment banking firm Houlihan Lokey. All teams presented their plans and rationale behind their decisions to a board of judges comprised of local industry professionals from the investment banking, private equity, and legal sectors heavily involved in mergers and acquisitions.
As a reward, the BW MBA ACG Cup Team was invited to attend the 17th annual ACG Deal Makers Awards Reception where they had the opportunity to connect with more than 700 professionals from these sectors around the region.
Baldwin Wallace MBA students have now earned first and third place honors in this competition, making our program one of only two in the region to earn multiple top three finishes.
Congratulations again to Kathy, Charles, Kaustubh, and Peter!
