Global Panel Lectures

On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, the School of Business and MBA Association jointly presented a Global Panel entitled, "Economic Insights: Global, National and Regional - An assessment of the global, U.S., and NEO regional economic outlooks, challenges and opportunities for 2013 and beyond."

Professor Harvey Hopson moderated the panel discussion.  The participants included Michael Weidokal, Executive Director for ISA (International Strategic Analysis) and also a Baldwin Wallace graduate, who offered his insights on the global economy and trade opportunities across the European Union; Dr. Kevin Jacques, Boynton D. Murch Chair in Finance at Baldwin Wallace and formerly an economist with the US Treasury Department, who provided views and expectations on the domestic economy; and Tom Waltermire, CEO of Team NEO and a Baldwin Wallace Trustee, who discussed the regional situation and how global trends and opportunities can be leveraged in ways to benefit Northeast Ohio.
