Pierre Jean Everaert currently serves as chairman of the board for InBev SA/NV, headquartered in Belgium.  He has been CEO of five international companies and has served on multiple corporate boards in North America, Europe and Asia. 

He has co-authored with C.K. Prahalad and Rosabeth Moss Kanter "The Organization of the Future" under the signature of Peter Drucker.  He has extensive experience conducting business in China as well as other parts of Asia, Europe, South and North America. 

He speaks 12 languages and has sufficient ability to conduct business in six.  Having begun his career with Goodyear, he is familiar with northeast Ohio regional issues and feels strongly about the need for area companies to innovate at a global standard.  His presentation will focus on the relationship of globalization, innovation, science and integrity.

This program is free and open to the public.

  Schedule of events:

1pm -2:15pm  Mr. Everaert will be with about 100 students focusing on “Globalization, Innovation and Integrity.” Location: Kamm 214.

2:30pm -3:45 pm  Mr. Everaert will meet with B-W faculty focusing on “Science, Business and Liberal Arts in a Global Context.”  Location: Grindstone Room in the Student Union.

4:00pm - 4:45pm  Mr. Everaert will join Peter Rea and Alan Kolp for a celebration and signing of their new book, “Integrity is a Growth Market: Character-Based Leadership” with Mary Lou Higgerson, Academic Dean hosting.  Location: Cybercafe-Bookstore area in the lower level of the Student Union.

The Lecture Series:

The Carl Kamm Lecture Series in the College's Division of Business Administration is an endowed lecture series which addresses critical issues facing corporations and their managers in a rapidly changing business environment.

The College:

Baldwin-Wallace College is an independent, coeducational college founded in 1845 in Berea, Ohio.  Affiliated with the  United Methodist Church, Baldwin-Wallace was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender.  The College serves approximately 4600 students, including over 700 graduate students in business administration and education.
