Students experience real life investing by managing a portfolio of stocks from the Baldwin Wallace University Endowment
worth over $250,000. The goal of the club is to outperform the U.S. stock market indices such as the S&P 500. The students make decisions based on their own research of equity securities. In recent years, these students have traveled to attend a shareholders meeting, visited the New York Stock Exchange, and competed with other colleges and universities in academic competitions related to financial markets. Additionally, a number of past club members have received internships and permanent positions at local and national firms specializing in finance and stock analysis.
Upon recommendation of a faculty member, the club's advisor will determine your eligibility. The club accepts students who are a business major or minor with an interest in finance and investments. Current members are juniors and seniors who applied for membership upon the recommendation of a Business Division faculty member.
The club advisor is Professor Jacob Kamm, Assistant Professor of Business Administration - firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Dr. Christian Nsiah - email@example.com
