The Sustainability Clinic™

BW's Sustainability Clinic™ finds ways for your business to Reduce Costs, Improve Operations, and/or Enhance Profits through sustainable practices.
The Sustainability Clinic™ was launched in 2010 as a business outreach program of Baldwin Wallace. The clinic works with northern Ohio clients (businesses and organizations) to analyze their facilities and operations, then recommend more sustainable practices that would improve operations, reduce costs, improve profits, and/or foster growth.

 

How it works:

With each project, a small consulting team consisting of one lead BW faculty member and typically one to three BW student consultants conduct the analysis and recommendation work, usually over 1-4 months. These trained teams have methodologies and tools to develop effective “triple bottom line” (People – Profit – Planet) strategies for clients.  In most cases, projects focus on ways to reduce immediate and short-term operating costs through more sustainable methods and devices, while also providing environmental benefits.

Each fee-based project includes two deliverables at completion – a final written report in electronic form, and a formal presentation of findings and recommendations to the client organization.
