MBA International Management Seminar

Summary
Sponsored by B-W’s Division of Business Administration, the South Africa , Zambia and Malawi Management Seminar will visit business, government, healthcare, educational, cultural and tourist sites in South Africa and Zambia. Seminar participants will meet with government officials, with representatives of major commercial sectors, with business and healthcare faculty/administrators and with B-W alumni and friends living and working in South Africa and Malawi. Topics to be emphasized will include marketing, import-export, finance, government relations, the state of healthcare and the cultural dimensions of doing business internationally. The seminar will include a particular emphasis on links between South Africa, Malawi and Northeast Ohio.
Travel cost approx. US$ 5000 (determined 15 Nov 2007)
Includes:
· International and domestic airfare including roundtrip airfare from Cleveland-Johannesburg and all internal flights, including Johannesburg- Cape Town, South Africa ,Livingstone, Zambia and Lilongwe/Blantyre, Malawi. .
· All ground transportation in South Africa , Zambia and Malawi .
· All hotel accommodations. Buffet breakfast daily.
· Most meals, including special tour lunches and dinners, and farewell banquet.
· Admission to special activities including visits to homes of Nelson Mandela and Bishop Desmond Tutu; visit to working gold mine; visit to winery; site visit to Port of Durban; and scheduled visits to wild game preserve and to national park and Victoria Falls, Zambia.
· Airport transfers and local ground transportation and transfers to business site visits, including, Pfizer Labs, a Healthcare facility and the all girls school started by Oprah Winfrey.
· B-W reception in Johannesburg

· Hotel tax, local taxes and service charges
· Airport and departure taxes.
