Laurie Grabowski graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University of Ohio in 1992. She majored in Personnel Management and earned a minor in Political Science. She also graduated magna cum laude from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996.
After graduation, Laurie worked for Ernst & Young, first as a client-serving professional focused on pension and benefits consulting. Her role evolved to focus on internal practice operations, including project management and communications. Prior to her departure, Laurie was responsible for the internal communications strategy and implementation for the Global and Americas Human Capital practice, which is a division of Ernst & Young’s Tax Practice.
After 12 years with Ernst & Young, Laurie began to work at her alma mater, Padua Franciscan High School. Her role has again evolved from fundraising and Endowment Liaison to the Director of Padua’s MedTrack program. MedTrack is an award-winning four-year advanced science and math program designed to help students explore and prepare for careers in healthcare. In 2013, it was named as one of 12 recipients of the “Innovations in Catholic Education Award” from Today’s Catholic Teacher magazine.
Laurie is currently teaching a course in Business Communications at Baldwin Wallace. She lives with her husband in Hinckley. In their spare time, they enjoy both domestic and international travel.
