Joyce Banjac, Ph.D.

Joyce Banjac is an entrepreneur and a veteran of higher education. She has held positions as business/marketing professor, business-school dean, university vice-president, and interim university president. In less than 10 years, Banjac advanced from her position as adjunct graduate-school lecturer to interim president of Myers University. Banjac launched two successful businesses in the technology and information systems sector. Her firms, certified female business enterprises (FBE), marketed to organizations in business, medical and government sectors.

Banjac writes for ScripType Publishing. Her articles on inter-organizational collaboration and social marketing have been published in the International Journal of Business Strategy and the International Journal of Business and Economics. Joyce holds a baccalaureate degree in business administration with a minor in economics, and a MBA, from Baldwin Wallace University. In 2000, she graduated with a Ph.D. from the University of Akron in secondary education, business and technical education emphasis.

Joyce is president of the board of trustees for the First Generation Foundation. She lives with her family, a husband, two children, and a dog. She enjoys the great outdoors, running, hiking and writing.
