The B-W Accounting Association offers an opportunity for students to network with professionals in a variety of ways.
Meet the Accountants Night Over 20 firms attend "Meet the Accountants Night" where many students make first connections for internships and jobs. After meeting with these professionals most students have a better idea of which firms would be best for them to apply for on campus interviews. Through these first interactions with professionals many students feel more at ease when going into their first interview for an internship or job opportunity. This event is held in the Fall semester. Visit our events page in the Fall for more details.
Guest speakers The Accounting Association throughout the year brings in guest speakers to talk about the different opportunities available in the field of accounting. Visit our events page to find out when the next guest lecturer is scheduled.
Accounting Association Banquet At this banquet, professionals award scholarships for applicants that have been chosen. Student, faculty, and employeers enjoy dinner while networking with other professionals. Visit our events page in the Spring to find details on this years Accounting Association Banquet.
