Joseph Tarantowski received his B.S. from Eastern Michigan University in Technical Theatre and Radio, T.V., Film Production. Before graduate school he worked at Tobins Lake Studios in Brighton, Michigan. He attended University of Wisconsin graduating in 1991 with an M.F.A. in Theatre. His area of specialty is Lighting Design but his studies also included Film Production, Film History, Art and Art History. After graduation he taught at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and served as Director of Television. He is currently an Associate Professor here at B-W and is Director of Broadcasting at WBWC. Research interests include Television and Film Production, Media Criticism, Theatre Production and history.
