Nancy Glass earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. She has completed other graduate work at Edinburgh University, Wyoming University and John Carroll University. Besides teaching at Baldwin-Wallace College, Dr. Glass has also taught at Bowling Green State University and Cleveland State University. Her other related job experience has been with the US Environmental Protection Agency, British Petroleum, and the Institute for Environmental Education. Dr. Glass has traveled widely – Iceland, Spain, England, France, Ireland, Alaska, the Rocky Mountains, and the Appalachian Mountains. She teaches the following courses at Baldwin-Wallace College: Crystals, Minerals & Rocks, Environmental Geology, Oceanography, Physical Geography, Shaping the Land, Science Methods for Adolescence and Adult Students. Dr. Glass co-teaches Discover Iceland with Dr. Thomas and has led students to the land of fire and ice in 2002 & 2003, with an expected trip in May 2005.
